Update on the visit to TCM Physician Tan Siew Buoy. It was quite pleasant but overcrowding. Because there is a promotion of 20% discount if the patient allows the interns to sit in for observation. At first I thought it would be 2 to 3 interns, as per my previous experience. I didn't expect there are 6 of them!
So whole Dr Tan is asking me question about my lifestyle, menses, etc, the interns are busying taking notes. After Dr Tan seen my tongue, I have to stick out my tongue for other 6 interns to see. After Dr Tan feel my pulse, I have to let other 6 interns feel my pulse too.
The whole process took about an hour (including my bf too). According to Dr Tan, there is nothing wrong with us except my body is rather weak. Perhaps we didn't catch the correct timing. Maybe the cheap ovulation kits are not so accurate, anyway we are changing to Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation kit. Dr Tan also give me a chart for me to take down my temperature. Circle the dates which we must baby dance. She also gives us some powdered herbs to take on specific dates. And we will go back to see her in another month time.
The consultation fee and the herbs cost about $68 per person (after 20% discount). So in total we paid $136. I guess TCM is not as cheap as the past, but is still cheaper than visiting a gynac (which eventually we will need to see).
Btw, I'm also selling the Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation (20 counts for 2 months supply) at SGD70. Free normal postage. Taqbin courier also available at additional postage of $5. Meetup at Jems or Jurong Point.
